on my 84 offshore i need somthing to seal sides of plywood that is in the transom seal hole. orig there was chalking that was cracked so i removed it and tried to fiberglass it. it got soaked in hur sandy and softed it. i was able to pull it all off in one piece (not preped right?). is this the best for it or should i use chalk or some kind of two part epoxy?

is it unclear? its the thick part of transom were you can see the sides of plywood. plywoods dried out now and is hard.

You're saying chalk. Like what you write on a blackboard with. I assume you mean caulk. What hole are you talking about? Is it from something that was mounted on the transom? Or, is it where the outdrive is mounted?

Also, I have no idea what this is supposed to say. I think preemptive text might have messed you up here.
