We have 330 Grady Express, purchased new in 2007, and the charger has failed. Product support on line tells us that the charger has "been electronically disabled to output" because of safety reasons. This model 2722B is a 30 Amp, 3 storage, 2 output version. It seems that it is out of production. Any recommendations for replacement? Our last boat never needed a new charger in over 18 years, so this failure is a surprise. We are in the Bahamas, and the boat is in constant use. We expect 82 degrees on Christmas. Happy Holidays, Grady owners!

i have a guest charger that failed me, it made one of my batteries "crack, explode," (whatever you wanna call it). i put a new one in & opted for a direct replacement. mainly to keep it simple. that was only 2 years ago. so far so good.

Many Thanks

Interesting...our last charger was in service over 18 years and may still be working. On this newer boat, we have starting power now due to the use, but will replace the charge soon since it is kaput. Any more comments by forum users? Should we stick to the same brand? Should we upgrade? We guess that they just don't make 'em like they used to...
