So we decided to trade in the 235 for a 2026 285. Feel like the dealership gave us a great deal on my trade in and the purchase. It helps to be personal friends with the manager and all the sales people! The boat should be here within a week (coming from south Florida).

Is there an on/off switch for it if I don't need it for the day? Don't want to kill the battery if I'm just hanging out at the sandbar all day.

On the older fridges you just turned the circular knob inside the fridge all the way to the warmest setting and you felt the smallest of 'clicks' and that was the 'off' position. I'm not sure about the newer ones. I presume that you could also just turn of the the fridge breaker on your 12 volt panel. I'm not sure where that panel is in your new boat, but it will be obvious. And I'm sure other owners will jump in who will know for sure.
