I am purchasing a 2008 Marlin, in "show room condition". The fiberglass, both hull and top sides, with the thru hulls, the white cockpit drains, all the trim on the top sides around the fiberglass, the hardtop structure, all of it is in great shape. Now, to keep it that way.

I would like some advice if possible:

For the Hull
I have used the following products on my previous boats, Collonite fleetwax, both liquid and paste with the cleaner on my Seafarer and Gary's Wax with Mequires Premium wax on my Sailfish. I used to use neverdull for the thruhulls.

I also know that some prefer a Polymer polish process.

Anyway, any thoughts, including the challenge to keep the thruhulls from pitting.

Also, do I pull the boat out say once in the summer for a bit of detail touch up or not worry about it. I boat in the Chesapeake and New Jersey. I would love to keep this boat in show room condition, but it will not be trailered nor lift kept.

thanks
