If you haven’t seen it online Grady just came out with a new 321CE, it looks sweet. Any thoughts on this addition to the lineup?

It's a nice day boat if that is your thing. You can sit a small village on that thing.

My thought/guess is that the other three CEs have been successful. I am not sure who their target market is, but there are a lot of other folks out there (with money) who have grand kids and the CE line looks to be a great beach/sandbar boat for family fun.

Maybe I need to spend time "coastal exploring", but I don't get it. It's a chopped down canyon that makes it easier to fall out of and rides worse (16⁰ dead rise). All to save 2" of draft.
I guess for some people 2" really matters.

Well if this is really 6" like we all claim it is, then yes those extra 2" can really make a big difference...

But getting back to the point, pun intended, I'm guessing Grady White must have a pretty decent customer desire for people wanting something like this, or I don't imagine they'd have designed the thing. I personally am not a CC/DC style of boater, I like having the walkaround with a cabin to be able to put all of my gear in, to be able to sleep in if need be and that keeps you out of the elements a bit more. But I guess I'm in the minority here as it seems like their walkaround models have gone from half of their lineup down to about a handful of boats now, or less.

Oh I get it. They do market studies to understand where to invest for a payback.
If I lived in an area where I rarely went to open water unless weather was good, I could see the appeal.
Apparently enough people are all about having the perfect sized tool for the job.;)
