The hulls for the 270/and 275 are the same. Your experience is a common complaint, but the good news is the fix is free. For lack of a better term, the "sweet" spot for stability on this hull is smaller and requires the right engine trim angle to keep it there. Trimming up is typically the solution. Once you find this, then consider tabbing as necessary, but be aware that it is more sensitive.just traded my 2006 GW Gulfstream 232 for a 2025 275 Freedom w/200yams and a joystick. love the engine package, hate the big loss in storage and fish boxes, but wife and kids love it. biggest issue so far os keeping boat level when open plane, seems to till from side to side with very little operator input. only second week with boat so might be operator error in understanding trim and tabs relationship. plains faster and milage about the same as old boat with twin 150 yams. access hatches for seacocks in poor and is placement of some controls, i.e.plug for phone charger socket on top of a cupholder.
will post updates.
Be safe,

Every design is a compromise on performance. If it's any consolation, when properly trimmed and tabbed in a head sea, this hull should provide a noticeable improvement in ride over the 232.
