I just purchased a 1982 221 Pacific w/ Mercruiser I/O, does anyone have any information on these it appears that they were only made for a few years? Does it share hull or was it perhaps a predacessor to a different model?
Re: New Grady Owner - 221 Pacific, Anyone Have information o
I looked at a few on line and it appears that the Pacific is the same as the Overnighter, just with an I/O. Good luck with your boat. Looks pretty good.

Fairly new to boating myself. Recently picked up a 79 offshore 24 for restoration.
My interpretation is that a vast number Grady boats from this era are are very similar and based on the same hull.
Your boat looks identical to mine although there are differences to be sure. I think it was around the early 90's Grady came out with the seavee 2 hull which significantly streamlined the base Grady hull and had a significant effect on all aspects of cruising. Mileage/cockpit-wetness/speed/etc
Like I mentioned I'm new, take what I was with a grain of salt. I'm sure someone more experienced will be along soon with more concrete info.

It's built on the same hull as the 22 Seafarer and 22 Tournament. Only difference (that I'm aware of) between it and the Seafarer is it doesn't have the recessed walkway that the Seafarer does. It's more like an express. There was also a Bimini model that had a transom mounted outboard and I believe a Bahama that was equipped with a Sea Drive.
