Well we closed the deal on our new to us 1999 19.2 and brought her home tonight. My wife and kids can't wait to start giving her the TLC and make her shine tomorrow while I'm at work. We are all very excited and can't wait to take her out this weekend.

I'm a new GW owner myself. Try and hook yourself with your local GW Owners Club. Good times to be had

Grady 19.2? Did you purchase a Tournament 192? I have a 1994 dual console and love the boat. The 192 is a great family boat. Congratulations on the new boat! :)

Yes it's a 19.2 Tournament. We spent the evening cleaning it. The motor is a 1999 yamaha 150, I need new engine gauges. Anyone no of a way to repair them or a lead on some good used ones or new?

Thanks
Mike

What gauges to you have and which ones do not work? There is more to them that can go wrong other that just the gauge. Electrical connections, for one, get corroded and need to be cleaned.'

I have the Yamaha Tach and speedometer. The sun has killed them. During power up the Tach barely displays and digits while the sped shows nothing.

Hunt around on eBay and you should be able to find used ones. They are plug and play.

Congratulations and enjoy the new boat.

Welcome to the "Grady Club" --- LOts of great help and advise on the site. Shop around for the guage. Prices vary wildly on the internet for these things. Make sure the person will garrantee it works. You might want to pull the prop and make sure there is no fishing line behind it as well as grease the prop shaft before you put the prop back on. I think the tourque setting is 50 PSI. Be sure to use a new cotter pin as well. Drain and refill the lower unit if it hasn't already been done. Pickup 2 new gasket for the screws on the drain plugs --- You'll need them. Have fun with your new toy! :).

Congrats on the new boat to you! I had a 1998 192 and it was a great boat and part of me misses it. It is a solid 19 footer and enjoy her for years to come.

Thanks for all the advise. My family and I are taking her out tomorrow morning to fish Lafitte LA. Can't wait.
