new owner '08 marlin

first posting, planning to close on a "new to me" 08 Marlin next week. I'm planning to swap out the port side pedestal seat with the "companion lounge" seat. Anyone out there looking to swap in the other direction??? If not any advice on acquiring/installing a new seat of this kind??? Also there's some great pictures on this site of a Marlin with an extended canopy off the back of the hardtop, does anyone have any experience with these or similar products. Thanks for your help.

Congatulations on your new purchase, I also just purchased an 08 marlin, and just getting started with cleaning and waxing the hull,

Congrats. I have the same boat and year. We really enjoyed it. We have the bench seat and it is great for family and guests.

I haven't seen the other pics but did add a shade option to my 228 last year which is as close to perfect as can be. I had them build it at just the right size that I can fish without interference. Everyone used to gravitate towards the helm before this but no more. It folds down when the boat is covered.
