New owner of a 1995 GW 223 Tournament. 2nd time out noticed yellow/greenish fluid leaking from underneath steering column. Any suggestions/advice for repairs? Thanks to all.

Sounds like hydraulic steering fluid. You should check and make sure you're not overfilled first. Its the cap right behind the wheel. I've overfilled before and had the fluid drip down on the footrest.

If that level is OK you need to inspect underneath the helm for leaks.

Good luck.

I was told if the fill cap vent gets clogged it builds pressure and leaks at the seal.
I replaced mine and the leak stopped. This was after I had my seal replaced and still had a problem.
You may want to try that first.
I could blow air through the new one but couldn't through the old.
Very inexpensive fix if that is the case.
Good luck!

GW VOYAGER - good point! i now remember buying a new cap when i bought the new seal - don't know if one, the other or both solved the problem, but it was a cheap fix (for a change!).
