New Owner - The boat needs some TLC

:noob here. I just picked up this '86 Tournament 190 and it's in need of some TLC. I've owned boats before but mostly jon boats that never needed a lot of login.

My plan is to remove the GW stickers and pinstripe with a 3M Stripe Off Wheel. I'm also planning to use the 3M line of products to compound, polish and wax the boat. The question is should I do that before or after I replace the decals or maybe somewhere in the middle? :hmm

I just did exactly what you are about to and i also looked at the boat you just bought... congrats!
I removed the stripes before i did any wet sanding or buffing.

note,I used up two eraser wheels removing the stripes...

Thanks... My plan is to pickup the parts this weekend and start working through the restoration process. I'll post up some pics as I make my way through.
