I closed the deal last sat. on our new to us 282 SAILFISH. It's an 01' model with most of the bells and whistles, A/C, Furuno NAVNETwith 4KW 36nm radar, hot water, battery charger, 18' Lee juniors, auto pilot, Clarion stereo w/cd Icom 502........ the power is 200HP HPDI's with 570 hours on them.
I'm headed down in a little while to do water pumps, T-stats , lowerunits ,fuel filters and spark plugs. Darn those plugs are $$$$. I whittled Advance down to 4.00 a plug but I bought 30 of em'. two sets for myself and one for a friend with a 2001 HPDI.

Congratulations!

No other 25 ft production twin outboard walkaround can claim such a legendary pedigree and one that started it all.

And the 200 HPDIs beat the F225s at their own game, on Grady's testing of the Sail. Make sure you get the HPDIs serviced properly, keep any water or contaminants from the oiling system. get the VST filters changed.

(take note, next time you need HPDI plugs, ask us where to get them)
