I had someone run into the back of my boat trailer (90s Longs Trailer, cant recall exact year right now). It broke the center weld on the rear roller assemby (U bracket). It also bent the bracket where the U bracket bolts the trailer..
From what I have been told Longs Trailers went out of business like six months ago, so no one is able to locate parts.
It is almost scary to think that only two bolts (one on each side) is the only thing holder that rear roller assemby on with the weight of my Grady sitting there..
The weld is now good, but since the brackets bent and the bolts are very old, I am afraid they could break and the boat fall sideways off the trailer when going down the road..
I am looking to save for a new trailer.. What size trailer should i get from a 87 22'ft 228 Seafarer?
