I just installed a Standard Horizon 1850. About $200. NMEA2000 GPS interface. Other modes for NMEA183. New antenna. Only thing it doesn't have is a hailer. Works great.

I have the exact same radio, 2 of them in fact. Like them a lot. One is on the dash, the other is mounted under my hard top. I use the rear one to brag about my catch (if there is something to brag about). I leave it on 11, our harbor's chatter channel, and then the dash one I leave scanning all the channels I care about (chatter, harbors, commercial, emergency, etc). The only thing I should do is pull 11 out of the dash scan sequence. That way I can leave both on at once and not get feedback. Gotta go do that.

Anyhoo, I like the radios, have 2 of their hand helds as well. The 2nd fixed mount is for chatter and to have a long range one (8 foot antennas) when I try for tuna.
