I have a Grady White Freedom with twin F200xa V6's. The port engine is working normal. The starboard engine is not working at all. The tilt and trim is dead and when I turn the key the gauges light up on the dash but the engine doesn't make sound. I didn't have my multimeter with me so I cant confirm if it was getting power. I pulled all the fuses under the cowl and they all look good. I have twin battery selectors. I have the red push button breakers in the battery switch box and they were not tripped. I am going back down over the weekend with the multimeter to check for voltage at the engine. Any thoughts on where to look? I am not sure if the engine has an inline fuse. Any help is appreciated.

Check ground cables also.

Check the two lug positions on the motor near the starter relay to make sure you have a solid connection and a good ground. From there check battery terminals AND the short connection between the batteries ( assuming you have two of them. If all of that is OK next step is the battery switch. That gets a little more complicated since connections are made at the rear of the switches.

A 12v test light with the pointed end is a better tool to test for juice since it draws some current ( small amount though). A digital voltmeter draws vey little current and can mislead you in cases of poor connections.

I'd start off by doing the quickest and easiest things first, which would be checking all of your connections to make sure that they're tight. I replaced the two batteries on my Grady White 228 Seafarer back in the late fall/early winter of 2023. Boat ran fine when I pulled it for the season, next spring when I went to put the boat out on the buoy for the season, I turned the key, heard a "click" and then got nothing. Took the boat back out of the water, trailered her back to our beach cabin, went over all the connections, one of the connections on the top of the battery terminal wasn't tight enough. So, I tightened it back up, haven't have an issue since then. I believe some of the connections on the wires are a slightly smaller than the terminals on the batteries, making it just not getting the perfect connection on there. Start with the basics and go from there, also how old are the batteries themselves? It is quite possible that one could be dead, and the other one isn't yet.
