If they are Yamaha tanks, then I believe they only come in two sizes, 2.5-gal and 5.0-gal.

10x10x14=1400 cubic inches = 0.81 cubic feet

7.48 gal/cubic ft x 0.81 = 6.0 gallons.

So, based on internal dimensions, plus space lost for the pump, those sound like five (5) gallon oil reservoirs.

that was just a visual estimate of my tanks...it looks the size of a big battery and it gets close to filling up with 2 gallons of oil.....5 gallons is definitely not gonna make it....I may need new eyeglasses....maybe thats why all my stripers are 40 lb'ers :lol:

This is from a Yamaha 2002, 200 HPDI owners manual.

"Chapter 4 - Maintenance, Specification data"

"Remote oil tanks" -

"10.5 liter tank = 11.1 us quarts
"

Approximately 2.75 gallons.

"18 liter tank = 19.1 us quarts."

Approximately 4.75 gallons.

I just added 3 gallons to each tank and they each had a good amount in them and still had room for more so I am guessing 5 gallons each.
