Taking a lot of measurements.

Now I can see the size of things like the fish box etc.

There are a few Ss parts needing some cleaning. Some rubber seals that need replacing..

The list is just starting...lol.

Not a fan of the crank on the trailer, or the jack. Those will get replaced.

Here are some pics, the ones small enough to upload:

I hear ya, but I need those hours to include the vhf stuff, the radar...etc...

So, the top goes on and we get her in ship shape before I take her out.

That’s the plan, and a Rusky don’t take a dump without a plan....lol

I see holes in it, with all the talk about water getting in check it out.

Yep, I am going to go through everything before she goes in the water. I am pretty sure she was well taken care of, but the top is going on first...which means I have 5-8 weeks to get all the rest of the stuff taken care of and cleaned up;)

I would at least seal up that cap for now. You have a Fulton winch. I would get another Fulton one that comes with a cable instead of the strap. Shelby makes a good winch also. Fulton makes a quality jack too.

Oh, I see what you are seeing. No, those are not holes. They caught my eye too... but they are blemishes only.

The two cuts in the white on the other pictures concern me more and will get sealed temporarily till I can get it to a fiberglass person, but the transom metal is not a hole. I will be going through all of it this weekend and cleaning etc. I also have a large tarp for not. There is a boat cover inside as well, but not sure what itcovers yet. Will find out tonight when I get home from work.

I'm not a fiberglass expert but I would just put some Marine Tex in the chips, cracks, and transom and be done with it.

Heh.. only get one chance to do it right... besides, fixing this stuff is only a few hundred, and they may be the ones to install the top, so.. in for a dime...

Gotta call around.

Today it will be

1 - Get the friggin boat and trailer to some place that will make sure I have the WD set up right.

2 - Get the trailer inspected

3 - Get the trailer registered

Tomorrow -

Get the boat and motors registered.
Have to get it all done... been waiting on the dang boat and trailer so, the bank is like, "hey... when you getting this done?".. and I am like, "hey. it just arrived!"... lol

So... Jerry at MWM just emailed me and the crate is only 300 lbs.. so my tractor can unload it easy peasy.

So... we are about to place the order for the top.. BAM!

I am opting to get the enclosure and the storage bag later. May be able to get it in a couple months.. but, to keep the initial costs down... decided that $2k of it was not needed right now.

Will see if they respond and get this puppy on order today.. so excited!

Saves me 2k to spend getting all the other things fixed.

Oh, also .. you were right, those DO look like holes. Will be taking it to them Friday (the fiberglass place) and see about replacing that entire metal strip and making sure there is not an issue.

Towing for the first time...holy cow...lol

Got out, walked around and almost freaked out till I remembered the hitch had three ball sizes lol

Temporary till I get it to the rv place to install the wd hitch. This was for the trailer inspection for the title...2.3 miles.

I replaced all the thru hulls on mine. They were the white plastic, and several just fell apart when I tried to loosen them. Most were also hard as hell to access on the inside, with nowhere to turn a wrench to tighten them up. I made a tool, so that they just had to be held in place on the inside, while tightened from the outside.
Took an old socket that fit snugly in the opening, notched it with an angle grinder, and had an easy way to tighten them up.th2.jpg
