Older gradyBoat lettering

I have a 1980 overnighter that is not named. I want to go ahead and name it. I was just wondering if anyone has experience on how to put a name decal on this because the sides are not smooth they are staggered. Thanks for any info

Maybe smaller lettering? I/O or outboard? Got a picture of the transom?
