This wait is painful.
Is it normal to re-line poles and make new leaders multiple times waiting on the ice to clear for the new boat?

Did that today for my surf rods... Not as much of a rats nest as you! That be some winter blues right there.....

I like the black stripe down low and no GW stripe up high.

You took the bottom paint up to the bow eye. That'll be above the water line.
Did that on my old boat. Looks great with new bottom paint but, depending on the type of bottom paint, it may look weathered in a about a month.
And you are sentenced to repeat every year.

I always said if I ever had to strip the bottom I would paint that little section with black topside paint to the water line.
