I have 1999 209 Escape.with 150hp Yamaha. Seem like my cav plate buried in the water. Motor mount on third hole down (from top). Is any 209 owner have the same problem? Which mounting hole is on your boat?
When you are at cruise, where is your cav plate in relation to the water surface? Should be getting splashed, but not submerged. If it's just below the surface, raise the motor 1 hole...
