1998 Islander 268 with OX66 250 engine. Recently after getting on plane approx. 4800 RPM, 29 MPH, engine will drop off 200-300 RPM, and after a few seconds speed back up to 4800 or beyond. This happens without moving the throttle lever at all. It has started doing this consistently 95% of the time. Occasionally I can get smoothly on plane, and it will hold steady at 4800 29MPH, but more times than not, it will drop off RPMs and cycle back up. Any troubleshooting tips?
