painting inside cuddy

want to tear out old carpet inside 228g cuddy. anyone have experience/pics with painting inside cuddy. any advice as to surface prep, type of paint to use, brush vs roller,how to hide wires? if paint is not a good choice, what can you use?

Why not buy some fabric from GW and re-upolster? I just did mine including cushions.

Carpeting helps with sound and prevents scrapes..

I am going to remove my carpet, spray a thin coat of epoxy (for adhesion to the glass) and use truck bed liner material.
