Passenger Helm Seat Modification On 232

Hi all,

Just purchased my first Grady! 2005 232 with twin 150 yamaha 4S. Some of the one's I looked at had a 90 degree passenger seat that had room for a couple people to sit. Mine just has the single swivel. Anyone know if this can be modified to the larger version, and if so, a vendor? I have 2 boys and we'd like to be able to seat the 4 of us up front during our travels.

First of all, congratulations on the Grady and welcome to the GG board.

The seat you are referring to is a Companion Seat, and it was an option on most models. We have it on our Islander.

Contact Grady-White Customer Service and ask them where you can get the seat, and what is involved in the modification.

They are usually extremely helpful, and it isn't restricted to the original purchaser.
