I have 1995 Escape with pilot seats. The passenger seat base front two screws became loose, and the seat base tilted back about a 1/16 inch putting a slight crack in gel coat. I took out the two front loose bolts and they were wood screw threads. I was able to unscrew one bolt (regular threads), but the other three bolts just spin and can't be removed. Have tried to ply from the bottom of base with small crow bar but it doesn't budge.

Does anyone have any advice on how to remove the base - should I drill of the heads of the three bolts? Is the base sealed tight to the gel coat floor with permanent sealant?

Pictures are always helpful. I have no idea what your boat looks like, where this is happening and what is underneath.

My seat slide is thru bolted. You have to take the cabinet underneath out to get to them.

Can you get underneath the seat? Maybe there are nuts spinning back there. Get under one of the screws with a screwdriver and pry up while someone else attempts to unscrew the screw.
