sounds about right.Z4J said:A good friend who sells lots of boats (owns the company) tells me that prices are pretty close to NADA, especially if financing is needed.
Also adds that most late model boat owners are without equity and buried in their finance package, hence the high asking price and the reluctance to bargain.
A really nice 2007 boat (think G) that he sold on the 4th started with a first offer of 50% of ask and settled at 35% off ask. Seller wanted out.
200 4 strokes? Don't you mean 225?armauro said:I am trying to sell my 06 282/ 200 4strokes with 21 original hours and only 2 seasons use with state of the art electronics including auto pilot for 80k which is cheap to NADA considering the lack of use.
wow i have not seen any with 200's. How is the fuel burn? Better then the 225's?armauro said:No this boat was ordered by dealer that way- I bought is used - previous owner bought it as a leftover in Michigan from dealer - 4000rpm/ 26 knot cruise
Yes, pass. Tons of good deals out there and this winter will be a huge buyers market. You are in the worse part of the season to buy. Not many buyers out there unless its a steal of a deal. I would wait. Keep looking, it will only get better.Bama96 said:He told me $75K was the bottom dollar. The boat is in good condition with only 380 hrs on the 4 strokes. The trailer looks new as he slipped the boat. Boat has a nice shine on the hull and the bottom paint is new. Not sure what to do. I only want to spend $70K. Should I pass?
