Hi everyone. New/1st time Grady owner here down in South Florida.
I just bought a '12 209 Fisherman with an F150 and it came with a 3-blade Michigan Wheel ballistic 14 7/8" x 15"P prop on it (the ones with the angled trailing edge near the tips). My numbers aren't horrible (topped 38 MPH at 5300 RPMs trimmed up), but nowhere near the numbers Grady posted on the performance data (attached). I don't have a T-top, and Bimini was down, so my boat is very similar set-up compared to test boat (I actually had way less fuel).
I tried a 3-blade 14 1/4" x 17"P PowerTech PTZ3 that Ken at Propgods recommended I try but my numbers got worse. GW recommends a 3-blade 13 3/4" X 17"P which is what was used on their test boat. But before I go that route, I was just wondering what others here with same boat/motors using.
