Ok, my prop size is a 3 blade 13.75 x 17. Since Im more a cruising guy that s speed demon guy I want to try a 4 blade. So in the past I just reduce the pich by one to compensate for the additional blade. The question is what if instead going with a 13.75 x 16 y go with a 14.75 x 15. What difference will make the ratio of more pitch to diameter vs a equal pitch to diameter ??

I honestly couldn't tell you and although someone else might be able to chime in, I think a phone call to Ken over at Prop Gods would probably be your best bet as he's a wealth of knowledge on all things propellers from what I've heard.

I used PropGod's for my prop changes. Ken took my numbers and told me I was over propped and slipping. I needed better low and mid-range performance. They dropped 2" of pitch and went to 4-blade props. Amazing results with no loss of top end.
