Hi everyone.
I am proud to say that I am a Grady White Boat owner now.
I used to have a 20" Bayliner Trophy and now I have the 25" Journey 258.
Anyway, I decided to clean and wax her today. I also flushed the outboards.
When I was flushing them, I noticed that one of the propellers was spinning at about a rate of 2 cycles per second. Does anyone also have this problem?

Any advice or suggestions would be deeply appreciated.
I also hope that I can contribute to this community one way or another.
Here are some pictures of my boat:

Thanks in advance.
Anthony

Blues,
Congratulations on your new Grady. To have the prop spin slowly when in neutral (especially when flushing with muffs) is totally normal.

Ditto mine does it all the time. Completely normal. Congrats on your new boat.

Thanks a lot guys! I was just curious because one side was spinning a lot faster than the other. It seemed as though it was in gear.
I can't wait to take her out again. The yellowtail is slowly coming in

not sure if this was true but was told that the exaust causes them to spin. mostly on the yammy because of the prop exaust vent.

Congrats on the boat, she looks nice...what year is she? Ditto on the prop spin thing and welcome aboard...

Yes I am aware that it spins while in neutral.
But one of them was spinning a lot faster than the other outboard. But I am not concerned anymore since everyone is saying that it is normal. :D

Thanks, I'm glad to be here. She is a 2005.

congratulations! that's one huge upgrade... you'll look back later and wonder how you ever did without it! welcome aboard

$2.61 gas in So Cal? When did you take that pic?? :D

Congrats on the Grady and welcome to the board!

Like the others said, totally normal for the prop to spin slowly.

those pictures were taken on the long trip back home. that picture with the gas price is in louisiana.
