Have a lead on a 22 ft seafarer. Tandem axel seaking galv trailer.
Enging is a v6 225 fuel injection ox66
Engine is main concern also I would rewire it. If all is good condition after I take it to local Yamaha mechanic.
What is a fair market value for this?
Haul is late 90s.

Thanks for info all is appreciated

Go on boat trader or Craigslist and try to find a similar Grady in that area. The engine might run well but don’t consider it a selling point; you’ll likely want to repower in a couple years so budget ~20k for that. More if you need to add hydraulic or electric steering/electronic throttle/etc.

Maybe someone with way better knowledge can chime in but given the limited pictures and the amount of time/work that you’re looking to be putting in...under $20k? More like $15k. You’re paying for the hull and trailer (replacement will be $7-8k for a nice one).

That’s a mid 90s 228 at best. I owned a 98 and it had the new/current style windows.

$12-$14K depending on condition

Depending on hull condition $10-12K , nothing for the engine , very little or even nothing for the trailer. She is definitely older that 1998, very easy to check from the HIN.

Honestly it's older than that. That looks mid to late 80's.

Check the transom out, but if it's solid I would imagine that same price point. If you are picking it up for $7k and everything checks out, that's not a bad deal at all.

How can you estimate a price on a boat that you don't know its age, can't determinate its condition?

So what is it worth? Whatever someone is willing to pay for it:) Whether or not that price is appropriate is a totally different story
