Hello all, I have searched and not found a specific answer to this question. I want to pull a tube behind my 2014 Fisherman 257 with twin Yamaha 150s. Looking at the location of the tow eyes and the angle the tube can get to during sharp turns, I feel confident the rope would hit the motor with a fair amount of tension and force, even with my y harness. It doesn’t seem that a self centering y harness would solve the issue but maybe I’m wrong

Are there good solutions that allow you to still use the tow eyes and not install a mod like tow bar or turbo swing? Twin engines seem to complicate things for tubing

Airhead makes a wide harness that should work. i used this on a 208 and might be worth a look:

I also like to use a booster ball to keep the tube rope up and out of the wake. Prevents submarining the tube:

Thankyou for the reply, I will look at this! I do have the booster ball as well. It’s just unclear to me how, on very sharp turns, the non slack side of the y harness isn’t just a linear extension of the ski rope ? I’m doing pretty sharp turns intended to dislodge the tubers
