I put an arch on my Kingfish, couldn't afford the hard top back then. Probably could not now either. Works well, all my antennas are up and out of the way and I have more rod holders but with the arch you don't get the electronics box. I think other than the hardtop the arch is the way to go. I am not fond of the pole mounts but thats just me.

Radara arch is your best bet, or you could buy a radar mount pole to go at one of the aft corner's of the canvas top and mount to the cockpit sole or top of the fish box. Those are really your only 2 options. Persoanlly, the radar arch is better, more rigid, and also allows you to mount all of your electronics higher up. also a great place to relocate outriggers if you use them regulalry, and you cna add rocket launchers too which are great for getting rods out of the way. An Arch also looks way nicer then a pole mount which looks funny and does not benefit you in any other way.

Here is an example of a radar pole...roughly $850+shipping

Atlantic Tower's roughly $1500 for an arch. A custom arch would look nicer, but if your on a budget they can make you one that will be able to be put on yourself and save you installation fees.
Here is another Atlantic Tower arch for $1200

A custom arch will look nicer and be better built, but may not be neccesary if your main purpose is just for mounting the radar and looks are only secondary.

A custom arch is a great way to go for you to mount a radar on plus you can mount antennas, lights and some rod holds. Our arches are all custom made for what to customer wants and needs.
