My Freedom 215 does not have a raw water washdown and I’d like to add one. Would any Freedom owners with the washdown option be willing to take a photo of where the pump is located in the bilge area. I’m not sure where to mount the pump.

Thanks in advance!

GW Owners manual (downloadable from GW) usually have location diagrams. It should be obvious from there where the correct thru hulls should be.

First thing I would do is locate all thru hulls in the area and draw a diagram. Match up with GW Owners Manual.

Go from there.

Thanks, I’ve checked the manual. It does provide wire gauge and fuse information but unfortunately does not show where the pump should be mounted. I am planning to be close to the dealership today and plan to stop by and check a Freedom they have on the lot.

Going from memory, it was on the port side. If not, starboard, lol. There were only two thru-hulls on mine, one of them the washdown, under the rear seat compartments. They’re deep in the hull, as both valves had handle extensions to make them easier to open/close.
The 3 main components were connected via pipe thread and stacked - through hull, valve, pump. pump output was a hose feeding a stainless faucet under the gunwale, on the bulkhead adjacent to the port rear seat.

Thanks, I only have one thru hull (for the live well). Fortunately, that pump has a pre-pump fitting that I can plumb off of for the washdown pump. Just need to know the best place to mount it. Hoping I can take a look at the one at the dealership later today. Thanks!
