Does anyone know if a Raymarine EV 1 would send heading info to a Simrad NAC 1 computer. I cannot find the PGN sentences that the Raymarine EV 1 sends. I would assume the EV 1 and the Simrad Precision 9 to be very similar sensors.

The attached is taken from the Evolution EV-1 and ACU Installation Instructions manual and lists out all the NMEA sentences for the EV-1 sensor core and their ACU. Full document is too large to attach but can be found on the Raymarine website if you want it. Message #127250 indicates vessel heading so it ought to work. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. Gonna put a seatalk ng to n2k micro c adapter on it and see what happens. If it works and acts like a 9 axis sensor should, it will save me from buying a new sensor. Hopefully no software conflicts.
