raymarine quantum chirp

Looking at this wireless radar to go with ray mfd, got a lot of points from the last 3x sale and now will get 4x which looks to be 290$. Would be used for fishing off so east Florida. Not very knowledgeable about radar, looking for advice

I have one. Purchased in 2016. Crapped out just prior to the warranty falling off. Raymarine sent me a new one quickly and it has been fine ever since. I like it.

I've got the Quantum 2 paired via wifi with my Axiom MFDs. In the two years now that I've been running it I've had zero performance issues and zero connection issues with the wifi. Happy with it.
