The powder coating is starting to flake off the aluminum windscreen framing on my 1990 Marlin. Can anyone recommend the best way to remove the remaining powder coating without scratching the aluminum and also recommend a good quality paint to apply afterwards? I have heard that Tremclad in Gloss Gray is a good way to go and is also a close color match??
