My wife and I decided to repower our 228G with an e-tec 225. We should have the boat back in a couple of weeks. We're really excited! I'll take pictures as soon a possible.

Good choice...!

The 200HO, 225 and 250 all weigh the same - 524 lbs. I read somewhere the 200HO puts out about 220HP. I think it is very similar to the 225. If you have questions - post them here:

Good luck..!

Awesome, but why not a 250?

The marina had it in stock and can get us in the water in a couple of weeks. We all ready paid for the slip and want to get in asap.

I think you made a wise choice on the E-tec and I hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

All the reviews seem to be on the positive side. We can't wait 'till we get the boat back!

Don't you love the way it sounds...?!

The guy I share my finger with just repowered his Stamas with a pair of 200HOs so with mine that makes four HOs in a row...!
(Looks cool... 8)

Did you get any I-Command gauges? That's next on my list.
