What sort of range are people actually seeing with this set up?

Me Again...

Had a friend who owned one for a couple years powered as you describe and he told me he got 1.0 at 3900-4000 RPM. This will obviously vary with changing sea states.

We never talked range, although he took it from CH Harbor, Port Charlotte Fla area to Key West a few times. I'm almost certain he did it on one tank and that's 180-190 miles.

On 1 tank as in, 1 of the 2 tanks on board? That boat should have well over a 300 mile range. Anyone else?

The Grady performance bulletins are usually pretty accurate. Unless you want to go real slow, I wouldn't expect anything better than 1.0 NMPG. They show 1.0 SMPG at 3800 RPM and 30 SMPH at 30.6 GPH. My 330 does about the same with F250s. I plan at most 300 NM and have 350 gallons. I can go non-stop Tampa to Key West with some reserve if it's not too rough.

Sorry..Should've been more specific. When I said "one tank" I meant getting there w/out filling up, like in a car. I'm sure he was drawing down both the tanks on that trip.
