Hi - I have a 2004 Grady White Marlin 30, the bang cap is eroded and starting to see some expansion on the top of the transom under the bang cap. Does anyone have any recommendations on a local trusted fiber glass repair show to evaluate and potentially rebuild the transom? I keep the boat in Bourne, MA, it has an upper helm so I'd prefer a shop that I could drive the boat to vs taking the upper helm off and trailering it. What should I expect for redoing the transom $10-$12K? No flex on the transom yet.

I would think about if the use of Coosa makes sense on a 2004 boat and my conclusion to use Coosa for the transom on my 2011 one is not decided yet.
Coosa is extremely expensive here in Italy and i am not sure if i can find a fiberglass shop who can use it correctly so i most likely will opt for Okume marine plywood.
Plywood is just fine as transom material and used in about 90% of fibreglass boats with 20+ years.
Problem with plywood is water/humidity entering it due leaks, but a well sealed transom las a very long time, probably longer than a 2004 hull.

However, Coosa may be considerable cheaper in US so the price difference may not be so extreme than here in Italy.
