Reel Fixers: Best Grease?

Can you use Red High Pressure grease on the gears? Thanks

I'm sure a the technical answer is no. That being said, how many reels are either way over loaded with grease, woefully light or gunked up beyond belief because the grease is never changed.
I'd vote ok to use.

Yeah unless you have a reaction inside from dissimilar metals and the reel blows up while you're pulling in a nice fat cow.
