Okay, simple yet important information to have. I'm trying to remove my registration stickers from the hull without injuring the fiberglass. I attempted yesterday with nothing more than my fingernails and now paying for it today. Any helpful suggestions??????

I just went thru this exercise. I used a hair dryer and a putty knife; cleaning up the remainder of glue residue with MEK.

WD-40 or GoofOff --- Take your time. I would stay away from a razor blade or anything sharp or knife-like. Almost a given that you'll to ruin the gelcoat.

I just did this last week - WD40 and cheap plastic putty knife - worked like a charm.

Removed remaining sticky residue with more wd40 and sponge

Acetone will remove any glue residue then depending on how long they have been in place you may need to compound or polish to remove the outline

Heat gun, plastic putty knife and acetone, your best friend in this case.

I bought this tool
http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsea ... =hot+blade

to remove the decals from my Formula and very surpised, it actually WORKS great. There is a standar razon in the front, but if you wait to get hot to touch, it will remove anything sticky with no effort. BTW, not even one scratch.
