I have a few deck scorch marks caused by charcoal. Does anyone know what I should do to remove them?

Can you be more specific? If it's just marks from the charcoal brushing against the surface, then either a liquid cleaner or cleaner wax. If it has actually burned the gelcoat, then you'll need to try wetsanding or compounding, moving up in aggressiveness, to "hopefully" get back down to unburned gelcoat.

By the way...... uses a small, camping-size propane bottle..... http://www.magmaproducts.com/Products/M ... 0-114.html

Not knowing the degree, here is what I would try in order:
- Mr. Clean Magic Erasers.
- Softscrub with Bleach.
- Cleaner / Wax liquid or paste.
- Collinite Cleaner.
- Dupont #7 cut with water (25% water and 75% #7).
- Dupont #7 straight out of can.
Hopefully one of these will work. Be sure to wax after if not non skid. If non skid, maybe Woody's Wax.
