how did you cut the bulkhead out?

hammer and chisel. the wood was rotten so i just had to cut the fiberglass then pull out the mushy wood

I found this tool to be my "go to" tool. Get the better blades - the standard steel ones will dull quickly. I used that tool A LOT and it never complained.

I have the dewalt version of that tool, but I wouldn't use it because of all the gas fumes. now that all the fuel is cleaned up I will be using that for cutting into stringers/floor.
