I have purchased a used 225G. The depth finder transducer was moved to a new location on the transom and the old holes need to be repaired. They now have the screws re-inserted but the marine surveyor recommended I get them repaired.

What do I do?

thanks

Then you should get them restored because they are below the waterline.

For a DIYer like me, I'd take an oversize bit, like 3/8 in, run it in reverse to make a nice bevel at each hole, then marine tex them. Or perhaps use thickened epoxy.
