Replacing a Raystar 120 with a 125

I am planning to splice the existing RS120 cable to the new RS125 cable end.....Is this the best solution or should I get the conversion "pig tail" cable E36013?

What are the wiring connections if I splice to the existing (RS120) cable?

Hopefully someone has done this?????
