My Grady Marlin 300 has twin Yamahas OX66 250hp. The props need to be replaced, someone at the marina recommended replacing with Mercury Mirage 19 pitch props (currently have 17 pitch). Any thoughts, comments?

I've got the same setup as you... I went with the 4 blade props in a 17 pitch... originally had the 3 blade SWS II in a 17... I was able to spin the 3 blades slightly higher than the RPM range for the OX66's called for when fully trimmed out... the folks at propgods were right on when recommending the OFS4 17's by powertech to me.. mileage improved about 10% at cruise and overall handling as well... think they were about $900 including hubs for the pair... if you are getting new props, check out the 4 blades... for the extra $100 I think they are worth it!

I would be interested in taking that 17P RH of your hands. If it needs refurbishing thats no problem, I have 3 others that have to go in for repair currently, might as well make it 4. Thanks in advance, Safe Boating!
