I would like to replace the old not working DC 440 refrigerator in my 2001 GW Marlin. Looking at dimensions the Norcold DC740 and the Isotherm Cruise 49 should both fit the cutout. Is either a simple direct replacement without extensive modification? Does anyone recommend one over the other? Thanks.

That is a great idea. I never use the stove. Thanks a bunch.

I believe the stock fridge ran on 12VDC, I'd prob look for the same input voltage. When connected to shore power it was charged via the battery charger. If you go with AC only, you'll need a genset when running. You could tap the stove wiring I guess...
