Repower 2005 222 Fisherman with 250 hp

I'm searching for a new 250 hp engine to repower my 2005 222 fisherman. I've been unable to find new engines from any companies. Last inquired about a Suzuki. My Yamaha developed corrosion hole in block. Welding was tried but unsuccessful. Clock is ticking on this old fisherman. Lost last season and prospects for 2022 aren't great. Located in South Jersey shore.

Bout 4 years ago I was in a similar situation and at the advice of my trusted mechanic Tony I purchased a Yamaha 250 VHO black out board. Totally awesome engine...
