I am going to repower my 248 Voyager with twin 140hp Johnson 4 strokes. Does anyone have experience with this setup - twin 140 suzukies would be the same. I am trying to find out what the spacing of the motors should be ( i.e. 26" ? 28.5" ? ). AS well , how can I expect the boat to perform and what fuel consumption will I experience with the set up. Until now, I have been running a 225 Mercury 2 stroke with a 9.9hp Yamaha 4 stroke kicker. Thanks for any advise.
