I have a pair of 250 ox66 on my 306 Bimini. Was thinking about replaceing them with four strokes. Has anyone put F300 or f350's on this model? Can the transom handle the F350's?

A quick visit to the Grady-White web site for a look at the 2001 GW catalog indicated that the 2001 Bimini was rated at 500HP.

You should contact the factory to inquire re your repowering options.

IMHO, you might be fortunate enough to get the OK for the new Yamaha 6-cylinder F300, but not the 8-cylinder F350/300 model, as it is far too heavy.

you can, but it will probably void the warranty. Since the warranty has probably expired, this may not matter to you, but possibly the insurance carrier.

I have a 2006 and was going to install the f350s and was told it would void the warranty since the boat was not designed for the weight and power.

this spring, I considered the new F300, but installed the proven F250B and the difference in price can buy a lot of fuel.
