We have F250s and are seriously considering repowering to 300s. Question is - how much better will the boat run with new 300s vs. 250s - speed, performance, cruise speed, fuel burn? Who has done this and how did it go?

don't know, but based on the actual results i have gotten over two boats versus the performance bulletins, you probably would be close to this. http://www.gradywhite.com/330/performance_data/1/F300T
also, the redesign in 2008 added something like 1k lbs. so you may be better. good luck, ron

A friend of mine upgraded to the new 300s on a Contender and can't believe the difference in performance, especially the benefits of Command Link.

I have a 03 330 Express. I had F225's and repowered with the new F300's. It was like getting a new boat. Great performance at all speeds.
Thanks. I can see going from 225 to 300 being a big improvement. New 300s are nice but I'm just not sure it is worth doing when I only have 600 hours on the 250s.

Nope. I have not asked for a dealer quote yet. However, I have been told that I shouldn't have any problem selling my F250TXRL outboards which only have 600 hours.
